Solvang district to hold hearing on sewer charge ordinance
The Solvang Municipal Improvement District directs a public hearing Thursday at 8 p.m. at the Solvang Municipal Center to consider Ordinance No. 33 changing monthly sewer service charges. State Water Resources Control Board mandates interim rates through June 30 1977 with full rates to begin July 1 1977. The plan ties residential rates to a flat rate while commercial and industrial rates depend on water use and requires a separate quantity charge for wastewater.
