Hospital Corp. sets annual dinner meeting in Solvang
The Santa Ynez Valley Hospital Corp. will hold its annual dinner Thursday at 6 30 p.m. in the Rancho Santa Ynez Mobile Estates clubhouse Solvang. Wine from local vineyards donated to the hospital will be sampled before a short business session at 8 30 p.m. The Westernaires will perform after dinner and annual reports will be presented by Betty Jamieson Fred J. Harrison and other board members.

Woman's Club Flower and Art Show Set for May 14 15
The Santa Ynez Valley Woman's Club hosts its 14th annual flower and art show May 14 and 15 at the Veterans Memorial Building Solvang with a theme Its a Woman's World. Floral displays fill the memorial building while valley artists exhibit in the Veterans Wing. Pre show flower arranging workshops led by Mrs Bates and Mrs Gifford Davidge run April 25 and May 2 with a $5 fee. Further club events include a book review on Blackberry Winter and a card party with bridge canasta and pinochle set for April 27 and late May, all at the Solvang clubhouse and Veterans Memorial Building.
