Vandenberg AFB to get four new dormitories
The base will begin construction next month on four modern three story dormitories for 720 airmen. Plans call for 12 man modules, community lounges, latrines, cable ready rooms, and two volleyball courts per pair of buildings. The project costs about 2.6 million dollars and is led by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers with Fred A. Arnold Construction Co. as the successful bidder.
