Foster family appreciation day set in Santa Barbara
California's Mental Health Act takes effect July 1 1969 and JEFF sponsors an Appreciation Day to honor foster families caring for adults. Santa Barbara County has run a foster home finding program for nearly three years expanding to homes for adults needing board and care with supervision. The luncheon and program will be held Friday April 11 at St. Vincent's.
