Mrs Clara Blum Martin 75 of Logan Route 2 died at Doctors Hospital Columbus at 8 30 p m the day after her husband J Kerwood Martin 81 died at his daughter's home in Columbus Born Falls Two near Enterprise January 29 1894 she attended Antioch College Ohio University and did graduate work at Ohio State University She taught in several schools and held church and club memberships including First United Presbyterian Logan Daughters of the American Revolution and Ohio University Women She survived by two daughters six grandchildren and four sisters Double funeral services for the Martins will be at Logan Presbyterian Church Saturday at 2 p m with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery Friends may call at Leonard Funeral Home after 7 this evening.

New Post Office For Sugar Grove

Athens girl Krista Hummel in Denver liver transplant update

Officials at Colorado General Hospital reported Krista Hummel 11 of Athens Ohio remains in good condition after a liver transplant. The patient was flown to Denver for the procedure and her status was updated Thursday by hospital officials.

Dedication of Burr Oak Marina Set

Governor James A. Rhodes will dedicate the Burr Oak marina at Burr Oak Lake Park in Athens and Morgan counties at 1 30 p m on Monday. The facility includes 58 docks for 116 boats and 79 pick ets, a concrete ramp, fuel station, boat dumper, commissary, water and sewage plants, roadways, and parking for 88 cars with trailers and 191 other vehicles. The project represents a 601000 investment by the Department of Natural Resources.
