Nelsonville Hillyer Defends Planned Teacher Cuts
Nelsonville York schools superintendent Jack Hillyer met with Nelsonville Elementary parents to discuss planned reductions for the 1973-74 term. He cited enrollment projections showing declines, risking fewer teachers in first and other grades, and noted possible transfers to balance classes.
