Two motorists fined by Mayor over stop sign violations
Frank Beougher of near Logan pleaded guilty before Mayor Dallas Kinser for failing to stop at a stop street and was fined five dollars plus costs after a Saturday collision injuring Mrs. Haines and her son Roy Haines and a second driver, Robert Brimner, also pleaded guilty to the same charge and was fined five dollars and costs. Police Chief Lew Reynolds warned that violations of stop sign regulations will not be tolerated and offenders will be cited to appear before Mayor Kinser.

He began as an $18 a week clerk and borrowed to buy his first Chicago store in 1902 paying off the debt in four years.
