Warfare against English sparrows urged by Vermont professor
Professor Harry F. Perkins of the University of Vermont urges intensive warfare against the English sparrow. He says they originate from Germany and seek sunlight, driving away other birds. Spring is ideal for nests removal and burning eggs, and traps or poison food are proposed as control methods with Farmers' Bulletin No. 494 available for details.
