Big School House Burns at Neffsville in Manhenny Township
Fire destroyed Neffs ville Junior High Consolidated School in Manhenny township on Monday evening causing an estimated 200000 loss. Six fire companies including Lititz battled the blaze but could not save the building due to poor water supply. Pupils will be taught in churches and at Neffsville for the rest of the term.

New Fertilizer Factory Near Ephrata To Open
The Lancaster Bone Fertilizer Co. Inc. will finish a new plant one mile west of Ephrata on the Ephrata to Akron road.
