Ye Gide Follies Concert Draws Linden Hall Crowd
Lancastrians presented Ye Gide Follies Concert at Linden Hall gym last Friday evening. A large audience enjoyed the show. Proceeds totaled 102 dollars with the high school receiving half after expenses, leaving about 35 dollars for general improvements. Also noted, Neidernyer Bros. installed a hollow chisel mortising machine at their planing mill, boosting efficiency and enabling mortising up to three inches deep and one inch square.

Badly Scalded at Paper Mill
Daniel H. Young machinist of Lancaster was badly burned at the paper mill last Thursday evening during boiler trouble repairs. He stepped into a hot blow-off pit, scalding both feet to the ankles. Dr. M. H. Yoder treated him, and he was returned home Friday morning after initial care in the mill boiler room.

Mrs Barbara Miller wife of David K Miller died at her Akron home on Tuesday evening aged fifty from a complication of diseases. Survived by husband and six children Elsie Harry Lillie Mamie Laura Elmer at home two sisters Annie Zwally Reading and brothers Harry Stanton Zwally Shilling ton and Clarence Zwally Akron. A longtime member of Mt Zion Evangelical church she will be mourned by many friends. Funeral Saturday at 10 at the house with interment at Mt Zion Evangelical church Rev N L Bechtel officiating.

The Seaber homestead was sold at public sale to Paul Seaber for 806 dollars, with plans to open a street to Fast Centre street and build ten houses. John F. Evans property on South Broad street sold for 2400 dollars to W. H. Muth. A display by Druggist L. N. Moyer features triplet photos to raise funds for the children’s care, alongside a drawing by P. Buggy Wrecked When Runaway Horse Causes Damage
Daniel Withers of New Street Warwick secured an overcoat when his horse hitched to a buggy bolted loose and dragged the vehicle from the stable. The top of the buggy was wrecked as the horse led it along East Main street before being halted. the animal was not injured and the cause of the escape is unknown.
