Jefferson Wagner turned fifty years old on Sunday, celebrated by neighbors and relatives who were secretly invited by his wife to surprise him. John K. Zook died Tuesday at his Wollen Mill in West Earl township in his eighty second year. Cause was infirmities of old age. Survived by son Toward M. and daughter Lizzie M. Cornerstone laid for St. Paul’s Lutheran Church Lititz
The Kissel Hill group formed St. Paul’s Lutheran Congregation in 1885 with a cornerstone laid September 13 1885 and a 251 member church later. A new brown stone church on Broad and Orange Streets began 1911 with cornerstone ceremony August 27, 4:15 PM, including a Bible and history stone. Lititz Post Office becomes a Postal Savings Depository on September 22.

Green Horns Bypass Police Then Cleared in Philadelphia

Grosh Family Reunion Gathers Grosh Descendants in Lititz
Mrs. Joseph Bowman of Norristown organized a Grosh family reunion on the Spring grounds for about fifty descendants of John Valentine Grosch. Born in 1706 in the Palatinate, he arrived in Pennsylvania in 1743 and settled in Lititz where he became a noted Moravian before dying in 1771. A family portrait was taken during the pleasant event.
