Death of Samuel Foltz at 80 in Lancaster area
Last summons reports the death of Samuel Foltz after a long illness at his sister-in-law's home in Lancaster aged 80 years 11 months. He was born in East Petersburg and lived in Lititz 43 years, working in butchering and farming. A Civil War wagon master and 33-year Moravian church trustee, he and his wife moved to Lancaster last October. Survived by his second wife Ida Sturgis and children Harry Theodore and Frank, with services scheduled at Lititz Moravian church Saturday at 10 A M.

Wallace Murr, born in Lititz to Lewis Murr and the late Ida Murr, died in Denver Colorado on July 31 from complications of pulmonary diseases at age 40. He lived in Lititz until adulthood, prospected for gold west of Philadelphia, married a western woman, and spent his final months in Lititz before dying in a Denver hospital. Survived by his wife, father, and siblings Miles in Chicago Alta Baker Clayton Roth and Thomas Gabel. Funeral held in Denver on Saturday.
