Autos Collide at Dangerous Intersection
Two cars collided in front of Hensel's drug store around 5:30 Sunday evening. The occupants were not identified, the impact heard far away, and both drivers drove off after exchanging words. The intersection is noted as one of the town's most dangerous with few horns sounded by drivers.

Penryn Woman Severely Injured in Fall at Manheim Visit
Mrs Isaac Heagy of Penryn, visiting her daughter Mrs Milton Hershey near Manheim, fell down stairs and lost consciousness for a day. A deep head wound was treated by Dr Diehl of Manheim. She remains in bed but slowly recovers.

Antiques Bring Good Prices At Rothsville Sale
The sale of the late Isaac Weidler's personal effects at Rothsville drew buyers from Manheim Lititz and Eparata. Many items exceeded a century in age with a shelf clock selling for 14 dollars a mahogany secretary and bookcase for 42 dollars a walnut kitchen cabinet for 47 dollars and a tilt table for 22 dollars.

Mexico City Visit Reveals Wide Gap Between Rich and Poor
J Frank Buch, longtime editor of the Record, recalls his Mexico City trip showing a country split between a well-paid army and a vast poor class. Soldiers sleep outdoors, live on railroad grounds, and endure sparse housing as education remains scarce for many. Public schools expanded later under the present government, with land given to the poor. Thieving and beggary are common, markets sell goods by the yard, and theatres run late with slow scene changes.

Kenneth Witmyer returned Sunday from a three weeks trip for the Animal Trap Co to the Pacific Coast. Mrs Janet Mowat Visits Lititz After Years Away
Mrs Janet Mowat longtime Lititz teacher, wife of W H Mowat who died in 1925, traveled from Honolulu and Brooklyn to visit old Lititz friends last Friday with her Yale student son Edward. Her maiden name was Forbes and she previously lived with Mrs Mary Kemper on West Orange street. Her last Lititz visit was 1918.

Two Forest Fires North of Lititz
Fires raged in the ridge north of Lititz burning hundreds of acres of woodland. Lititz High School pupils were pressed into service with nine and fourteen local boys aiding in firefighting near Hull's hotel and on the Cornwall to Bexmont road toward the Lebanon supply dam.

Lancaster County Baby Beef Club Planned for 1927
Arrangements are under way to organize a second Lancaster County Baby Beef Club modeled after the prior successful group. Aimed at youths ages 10 to 16, membership will cap at about 125 to fit space at the next State Show in Harrisburg. Local units will form with leaders. Lititz’s is A. Z. Bomberger. Interested youths should contact Bomberger or County Agent Woolworth Building Lancaster before April 15.

Potatoes Cheaper than Apples at Warwick House Sale
Clerks at the Warwick House sale on Saturday logged 1075 sales. Potatoes fell from 50 cents to 1.85 per bushel while apples rose to 1.50 a bushel. Sweet potatoes moved from 1.25 to 1.50, citrus items ranged with grapefruit 10 cents each and oranges 20 cents a dozen. Bananas rose to 1.50 a bunch, hogs jumped from 6.65 to 38 each, two turkeys sold for 7.18 and 9.68, geese 2.60 each, a bicycle 5.50, table 7, shoes 0.75 to 2 per pair, brooms 0.50 to 0.56, wagon 13.25, spreader 3, linoleum 4.50 to 7 a roll.
