Sunrise Moravian Easter Dawn Service Attended
Seventy persons in fifteen automobiles from Reading Moravian church gathered for the early Easter morning dawn service. Fire Tower Opens To Visitors At South Mountain
The fire tower on South Mountain near Penryn Park opened March 24 with LeRoy Bare on duty to cover the dangerous season. Seventy visitors have ascended in two weeks led by Master Sunday as the highlight day for sightseers. From the tower clear days offer views of timber and farm land, though reaching it requires a strenuous walk as the by-road is nearly impassable for cars. The road will be improved in time.

Elwood Shoemaker of 24 Front Street Lititz, 26, had his left foot badly bruised when a large iron bar fell on it during work at Burnham Boiler Works on Storrisburg Pike Lancaster on Tuesday afternoon. He is a Lancaster General Hospital patient in good condition and expected to be discharged in a few days. He previously fractured the same leg years ago requiring a silver plate to unite the bones.

Millway youth William Adams dies by own action
William M Adams 4 of Millway was found in his barn with his throat cut at 6 30 am Wednesday. The razor lay beside him. Howard Smith of J Al Reitz & Son found him. He was breathing, but died before help arrived. He had worked for Reitz & Son until April 1 and had suffered nervousness with declining health for a year. He moved to a seventeen acre farm in the village but lost ambition. He is survived by his parents, four children Luther Pauline Dorothy and Evelyn, and several brothers and sisters. He belonged to Rothsville Lutheran Church sang in the choir and was active in P O S of A Rothsville and the Redmen at Ak yon.
