Bloomfield Park Opens With Band Concert and Picnic
Bloomfield opens its new park with Alfred M. Beasley of Linton speaking at 1:30 PM, dedication of the newly built bandstand, noon picnic, and afternoon games including tennis and horseshoes. More Arrests Made in Coalmont Robbery
Three Greene county residents were arrested after an attempted robbery at Peter Dolian’s Coalmont filling station. The Print Calverts and Marion Strouse were taken into custody in Fairplay, Worthington, and Jasonville, with transfers planned to Brazil. A confession to Brazil officers preceded their arrests.
