Mrs. Mary Funk Dies in Dugger After Illness
Mrs. Mary Bonham Funk 86 of Dugger died at 1:00 AM after a lengthy illness. She lived in the Dugger community 46 years, born October 22, 1869 in Marion. She was a member of Dugger Methodist Church and survived by three daughters, two sons, two half-brothers, a sister, 15 grandchildren, and 23 great grandchildren. The body is at Evans Funeral Home in Dugger with services Friday at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev. Alvin Collins. burial in Dugger Cemetery.

Jet crashes into Richmond residential area injuring six

Dangerous Gary Escapee Nabbed After Funeral Snatch
Charles Neddeff, 40, an escapee who fled Tuesday by striking a guard during his father Moses Neddeff’s funeral, was arrested in downtown Gary.
