Enterprise completes first manned flight test over Edwards AFB

Tornado Flattens Crops Near McCool Junction Nebraska
Severe weather swept through south central Nebraska with at least one tornado west of McCool Junction. Crops in a five to six square mile area were flattened from two miles west of McCool Junction to five miles west of Lushton. Lushton elevator losses totaled six bins worth about 12000 dollars. Damage also included farmhouse equipment, downed lines, and irrigation pipes.
