Round About Lima Plays at Rally and Town Notices

Sen Gaylord Nelson joked about his former governorship as crowds heard a proclamation naming Sunday Sen Nelson Day. A Lima reader asks for anecdotes about Mark Twain, and a Detroit News clipping details The Lima Star going to press. A neighborhood carnival on Ewing Ave to aid muscular dystrophy raised 56 dollars, with Tom Flynn’s booth earning 3.50 after sponge hits.
