City firemen were called yesterday to two homes. At 4:49 p.m. the Loren Cramer residence at 516 Hope Street reported a water heater flare up causing $300 in smoke damage to cardboard boxes near a floor furnace. Earlier at 12:19 a.m. smoke damage occurred at the Almeda White home, 529 West North Street, from unspecified cause.
