Alan K. Lower, 21, of Springfield escaped serious harm after his car jumped a curb, hit a telephone pole and billboard, rolled down a 50 foot embankment, and rested on railroad tracks. Trapped briefly, he was freed by rescuers, treated for a facial cut, and released. the car was demolished.
