More than 40 members and guests of the Elida Women’s Christian Temperance Union attended the all day state held at Elida Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. Mrs Edward Miller led, program covered Bible References on Temperance and Christian Outreach. Speakers included Mrs Clarence Beeler Mrs Ethel John Mrs Niles Strayer and Mrs Bernard Pierson. A flannelgraph story on Frances Willard was shown by Mrs Harvey Martin from Lima. Special music by Elida Central Mennonite Church sextet.

Unit 2 at 9 am at 1865 Idie wild Drive features Mrs Richard Percy. topics The World With Power and Realms of Our Calling. Unit 3 at 1 pm at 1615 W High St hosts Mrs Richard Hardy. speakers include Mrs William Kauffman on Thomas Hamilton and Mrs Robert Helser on Realms of Our Calling. Unit 4 at 5 pm at 001 Chapman Ave invites Mrs Jacque Lint. program The Realms of Our Calling with devotions and Mission An Dev ion. Unit 5 at 8 pm at 1804 Mikton Ave presents Mrs Richard Zam on The Word With Power assisted by Mrs Mark Emerick.
Bluffton College alumni will hold a social hour at 6 p.m. and dinner at 6 30 p.m. at the Argonne Hotel. President Dr Robert Kreider and Jack Purves will attend with Kreider as guest speaker. A musical program is planned with reservations to Theodore Stepleton by Wednesday assisted by Mrs Carrie Hughes.
Mrs Maude Trask of Lima, a Frances Willard WCTU member, spoke on What In An Image. The gathering ended with the group singing Blessed Be the Tie That Binds.
Mrs J C Thomas hosted Group 3 of the Christian Women's Fellowship at Central Church of Christ with Mrs Harold Myers assisting. Mrs Walter Dyke opened the meeting. Guests Mrs Bloyd Yoakam and Mrs Paul Buck led the program. Mrs Yoakam presented the lesson on Reconciliation of God and Man and Mrs Ruck spoke on Called To Be Disciples. Other members present included Mrs L C Ambos and several others.
