Annual election of the Lima Federation of Child Conservation Leagues was held at Market Street Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Merrel Holmes of Cincinnati outlined new rulings allowing leagues to tailor programming, with governors and area reps from Delphos, Gomez, Harrod, Piqua, and Toledo in attendance. New officers include Mrs. Ed Weis president Town and Country CCL and a scholarship fund donation from Town and Country.
The Lost Creek Ladies Association plans a 12 30 p m buffet luncheon for golf and social members and guests at the club on Wednesday. Guest speaker is Wayne Trapp owner of the Uncommon Carriage House Gallery. Social committee chair is Mrs Frank Roberts with attendants including Mrs Robert Hilker Mrs D L Richey Mrs Joseph Lepo and Mrs Curtis Coley.
Auglaize County Woman's Christian Temperance Union will hold its annual institute Tuesday at Cridersville Evangelical United Brethren Church. Morning session starts at 10 a.m. A sack lunch will be served at noon. Afternoon session begins at 1 p.m. The public is invited.
