Mrs Eva L Collins 8 of the Runyans died Feb 11 1878 in Cleveland at St Rita s Hospital. Surviving include daughter Flora Moor and son Leland Nichols with three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Graveside rites at Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev Dr Wood Duff officiating. Lawrence Nichols 63 of 817 Yetbliss Ave died at Lima St Rita s Hospital. He was born March 19 1902 in York Township and survived by wife Margaret and two daughters Mary Jane Price and Sylvia Ann Stant, plus sisters and a brother. Burial at Wright Cemetery after services at Harter and Son Memorial Chapel.

Trial Date Set For Blufftonite
A Bluffton man, Herman Steiner, indicted on four counts of malicious property destruction in fall 1964, was ordered to stand trial on April 5 with bond set at 2000 dollars. He had previously been brought to trial in October 1904 but sent to Lima State Hospital to assess mental capability. Officials recently deemed him capable of understanding the charge, and he appeared before Judge John Harnischfeger pleading not guilty.

Offenders Plead Guilty To Charges
Two area residents pleaded guilty before Allen County Common Pleas Court Judge John Harnishfeger. Marjorie E. Houston admitted drawing checks on insufficient funds, while Danny Lee Jewell admitted receiving and concealing stolen goods. Both had been indicted by the latest grand jury and await pre sentence reports in jail.

Body of Missing Girl Drowns in Lake Erie
A 16 year old girl Cynthia Kauge was found dead washed ashore in Lake Erie. Coroner Samuel R. Gerber ruled drowning as the cause. Police said she disappeared after leaving a car in Lakewood and slipping from a cliff. Three boys who were driftwood seekers located the body.
