Veteran Lima restaurant owner Joseph Guagenti aged 63 died in Hollywood Florida after illness. He co owned the Milano Cafe and lived in Lima since 1930 arriving from Chicago. Survivors include his widow and 16 grandchildren. Ward reports Chester O Miller, 39, formerly of Lima, died in Lansing Michigan with services planned there.

Mrs Margaret Ann Roberts, 100, died Monday at Lama Memorial Hospital. Born Sept 1 1865 she married Samuel Roberts in 1891, he died in 1950. She taught in Allen County schools in the 1880s and led a Sunday School class. Surviving: sons Harvey and Lloyd of Haron a daughter Margaret Hargrove of Willard eight grandchildren seven great grand children. Revs Arthur Hughes and John Wilcox to officiate burial in Gomer Cemetery. Friends may call at Hacter & Son Chapel after 2 p.m. eccday.
Mr and Mrs Francis M Parsons of Van Wert announce their son Paratrooper Pfc Pauline Parsons 20 was killed in action Friday in Viet Nam. He served with the 101st Airborne Division after enlisting in 1964 and training at Fort Bragg. Survived by six brothers and four sisters, plus grandparents. Body to be returned to Alspach Funeral Home for arrangements.

The group aims to keep service operating and plan a follow up with City Council Utilities Committee Downtown Business Association Better Business Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. Murphy Dennis J. Murphy has been named acting executive director of the United Fund of Greater Lima and the Community Welfare Council of Lima and Allen County, replacing W James Greese who moves to Dayton to head the Community Welfare Council of Dayton.
