Veterans Affairs confirms NSLI dividends paid on policy anniversaries
The Veterans Administration says regular annual dividends on USGLI and NSLI will not be paid in advance this year. In 1966 about 209 million dollars will go to 4.5 million NSLI holders, averaging 47 dollars, with about 15.2 million to 200,000 USGSS policyholders, averaging 75 dollars. Dividends are automatic and sent per policy anniversary. separate checks are issued if multiple policies exist.
