Albert L Rohrbacher 65 of Rt. 6 Cridersville dies at Lima Memorial Hospital where he had been hospitalized since Thursday after a heart attack. Born July 18 1900 in Auglaize County, he is survived by his wife Chloe Evick, one daughter Josephine Neff, two sons Charles and Jay, a stepdaughter Joy Buthker, a stepson Clifford Rison, eight grandchildren, two brothers Jay and Earl, a sister Ruth Miller, and was a retired builder and Overhead Door Co employee. Services Tuesday at Bayliff and Sons Funeral Home Cridersville with burial in Greenlawn Cemetery Wapakoneta. The family will receive friends Sunday and Monday.

Vandals broke a glass door at South Pine Street Hardware Store causing most of the glass damage estimated at $1 05.

Arson Blazes Cause Major Damage In New Orleans Area
Fire officials set total damage at 650000 after predawn fires engulfed two floors of the Hibertnia National Bank building and the McDonogh No 26 Elementary School in Gretna. The school suffered 500000 in damages while the bank blaze caused 150000 in losses. Three firefighters were injured as 125 firefighters and 26 units fought the blazes. Authorities say the Gretna school fire was arson and the bank building blaze is under investigation.
