Wreckage Found of US Air Force Globemaster in Spanish Alps
Searchers located a US Air Force Globemaster with eight aboard after it vanished while delivering material for locating a missing US nuclear bomb off Spain. The wreckage lies northwest of Trevelez near Pico Mulhacen in the Sierra Nevada. no survivors were reported. Civil Guards and volunteers resumed the mountain search as two US submarines attempted in vain to locate the bomb in rough winter conditions.

Fire Destroys WOHP Bellefontaine Station
A fire destroyed the WOHP transmitter studios and equipment Sunday leaving only one long playing record album. Chief Engineer Bob Armstrong said new equipment was ordered and the station would return to air in temporary quarters as soon as possible. Officials did not estimate the damage.
