Air Force uses giant flash to frighten birds at Moody base
Moody Air Force Base deployed a 500 million candlepower flashbomb to scare about four million migratory birds mainly starlings and blackbirds from a swamp east of a new way. If effective two more flashes planned tonight and two more Friday night as base officials and Fish and Wildlife assess the outcome. Maj. James E.
