Minstrels Set for February Benefit at Opera House

Preparations are under way for the Second Annual Mississippi Minstrels at the opera house to benefit the ball club. The event features blackface comedy by a local home talent cast with reserved seats 20 cents and general admission 15 cents. Reserved seats on sale at Frey & Son Hardware Store.

20th or Lame Duck Amendment

Community Club Holds Open House Meeting

The Community Club gathered for an open house Monday with about 30 attendees. Officers and a serving committee provided an oyster supper, a roads talk was given, a minstrel program ad was voted for, and a Trader at Home campaign was favored.
