Preparations are under way for the Second Annual Mississippi Minstrels at the opera house to benefit the ball club. The event features blackface comedy by a local home talent cast with reserved seats 20 cents and general admission 15 cents. Reserved seats on sale at Frey & Son Hardware Store.
The text outlines Sections 1 2 and 5 of the 20th Amendment ratified by 36 states. It states terms end at noon January 20 for President and VP and January 8 for Senators and Representatives, Congress must meet yearly at noon January 3, and Sections 1 2 take effect October 15 after ratification.
