Detective Captures Escaped Convict in Myrick Yards
Missouri Pacific detective John Shinkle halted an escaped prisoner in the Myrick yards early Friday. The man, wearing overalls and a sweater over his prison uniform, was held in Lexington before being transported to the Jefferson City penitentiary on the River Route. He said he escaped about a week ago.
