In a season highlight Lexington High school edged Higginsville High 16 to 0 in a fast, physical game. The Lexington squad showed superior teamwork as their lines pushed the opposing defense for steady gains. Death of Farley Grubb at Jefferson City
Farley Grubb age 14 died Friday morning November 20 at 10 o clock in Jefferson City from typhoid fever. He was son of James Grubb formerly of Lexington and grandson of J. O. Kelley. He was nephew of W V Curts Joseph and Lyon Shelby. Remains will be taken to Bates City for burial in the Bates City cemetery where his mother is buried.

R L Yeager Sr. died at his home in Kansas City Monday night. He was the father of BR L Yeager Jr. and son-in-law of Col and Mrs B J Houston. His death came from heart trouble. Yeager was a Christian man, a capable lawyer, and respected citizen in Lexington.
