The Elks Home housed post event reception with Stark's Orchestra providing music.

Death of Dr Robert Wilmot in Odessa
Dr Robert Wilmot died Tuesday afternoon December 1 at his Odessa home. He was 81, born in Kentucky and moved to Lafayette County early in life where he made his home. He had been in declining health, and his death caused sorrow among friends and relatives.

Local man mourned by large family after passing

Widow Mrs John W Parks Dies After Typhoid Pneumonia
Mrs John W Parks, aged 86 years 7 months, died at her Third street home Thursday morning from typhoid pneumonia. Born May 12, 1867, she was daughter of William Krneveller and lived in this city all her life. Survived by seven children, four sons and three daughters, with siblings Joseph Knoeller of St Louis and Albert Knueller of Lexington among others. A Methodist, she is mourned for her large family. Funeral held Friday at 2 p.m. at home conducted by Rev A Hobenwald. interment in Machpelah Cemetery.
