Central College Faculty Entertained By Misses Peak

Misses May and Alice Peak hosted Central College faculty Monday from 2 to 4 in their spacious, fern-decorated home. Guests played "42" with Mrs. George Jackwell, Miss Updegraff, Frances Rush, and Ethel Miller as winners. A two course luncheon followed, with Frances Rush and Cathy Miller helping in hosting activities.

Four county amendments advance including roads bond, pension tax, absent voter law, and prohibition enforcement.

Kemper Military School and Chillicothe Business College tied 7.7 at Chillicothe yesterday. Richmond 0. Wentworth Seconds defeated Richmond High School Friday at Richmond. Walthal M. Moore, a Black man, was elected to Missouri’s lower house from the Sixth St. Louis district.

Waverly Votes Thrown Out For Poll Book Errors

The Waverly precinct ballots were discarded due to badly muddled poll books. Only the first three electors on the Democrat ticket were tallied, with the rest voided. The remaining vote shows Republicans prevailing, while the register lists 535 voters.

Golden Fountaine's Susannah produced 12 517.8 pounds of milk and 698.5 pounds of fat, breaking the Missouri State Jersey mature record held by Gold Maporam. Douglas Dunford Returns Home After Siberia War Service

Douglas Dunford eldest son of Mr and Mrs Walter Dunford returned home Sunday morning after serving with the Canadian forces in Siberia and later with the Knights of Columbus. Since leaving Lexington in September 1918 he has traveled around the world.
