Closing Exercises At Wentworth 1902 Graduation
Wentworth Military academy held its 1902 graduation at the New Grand opera house with Col Sandford Sellers and Hon David Overmyer among the dignitaries. The class included Charles Ilgenfritz and William Jamison of Sedalia and many other graduates from Missouri and beyond. The program featured an orchestral opening, a prayer, and Overmyer’s address on war, peace, and the moral law guiding civilization and progress.
