Central Female College Art Reception Honors and High Praise
Central College in Lexington hosted an art exhibition and reception on a stormy May Saturday. Miss Brown led a gifted studio with works in pen and ink, watercolor, pastel, and crayon from students. the recital and gallery visit drew a cultured crowd despite rain, showcasing student skill and the college’s progressive art department.
