Miner Injured At Summit Mines In Fall
Being only injured In Mines, Herman Crome was dangerously injured at the Summit mines Monday night. Crome was pinned under a fall of slate, which broke his back. The chances are against his recovery. Dr. W. R. Eckle went to Lexington Junction Tuesday to meet Mrs. Eckle and his son, Coleman, who has been ill with typhoid fever in a Chicago hospital for the past month. They arrived here Wednesday morning, Coleman looks pretty well considering his long illness.

Death of John J Price in Kansas City
John J Price died at Kansas City city hospital after going there for treatment last February. He was 61, son of the late Jacob A Price, raised and long a deputy county recorder. survived by four brothers James William Charles Walter and three sisters Florence Otto Anna Nelbergen Myrtle Dawson. Funeral at James N Price home conducted by Dr Patillo, Woodmen of the World burial at Machpelah. The telegram mentions the late arrival of the steamer Chester and a crew including Mr and Mrs Thomas Chinn and two daughters and others who departed on the boat.
