Death of Mrs Arthur Kirtley in Kansas City
Mrs. Arthur Kirtley died Friday morning at 4 o'clock at 733 North 17th street from cancer. Born November 12, 1862 on a farm near Wellington, she was the daughter of the late J. M. Rice. She married Mr. Kirtley October 15, 1885. Survived by three brothers and three sisters including Mrs. W. A. Wyatt Lexington, Mrs. A. H. Lee Odessa, Mrs. Nannie M. Adams Independence, Joel M. Rice Edmonds, Okla., and James L. Riceington. Funeral services by Rev. J. B. Alexander were held Sunday at 3 p.m.

Third Liberty Loan Bonds Offer Large Issue and Schedule
The Third Liberty Loan will raise 3 billion dollars with oversubscription rights. Bonds carry 4.4 percent interest, dated May 9 1918, maturing September 15 1928. First coupon for 129 days to be paid September 15 1918, then semiannual payments March 15 and September 15. Not convertible or callable, tax-exempt like the Second Liberty Loan. Campaign runs April 6 to May 4.
Volunteered For Motor School Training Camp Volunteers
The following young men subject to call for army service have volunteered for two months training in motor mechanics and will leave this week.
