In Olympia the legislature in special session ratified women’s suffrage by unanimous vote. It enacted higher general fund levies to five mills, raised per pupil payments to 20 dollars, and approved a soldiers' bonus with referendum. The Gellatly tax amendment failed. Adjournment came after two days with total costs listed.
The executive secretary of the Inland Empire Teachers Association has sent identification certificates to Mr. Sutton superintendent of local schools for teachers in Leavenworth.
