Raymond Ricker of Leavenworth died in Wenatchee after a tuberculosis illness. He was 21 years and 7 months old and leaves three brothers Samuel of Wee-natchee Archie of Seattle Ernest of Bellingham and two sisters Mrs A F Frank of Leavenworth and Mrs Pearl Sanders of Minneapolis. The funeral is set for Friday February 27 at 10 am from the Wenatchee Undertaking Company with Reverend Robert Warner officiating. Interment will follow in Wenatchee Cemetery.

At noon Thursday neighbors alerted the fire department after a heater leg came loose and toppled the stove in Mrs. Frank A Reynolds home. A child ran to a neighbor for help and the stove was righted with no damage to house or furnishings. The swift response prevented a larger fire.
