A Wednesday morning blaze gutted the Burnstad Kellar cleaning and tailoring shop and Burgess Barber Shop. Fire officials saved adjoining buildings though water damage occurred. both businesses lost stock and equipment with no insurance, while customer clothing and Rainier cafe sustained damage. Tom Burk owns the burned structures and insurance covers losses.

Seven I W W members sentenced in Superior Court
