College enrollment surge pressures state college growth
College enrollment climbs toward 10 000 with potential to reach 15 000 by 1970 if campus capacity expands. Increase in buildings, staff, and housing depends on admissions and funding. Alternatives include selective admission by test or higher costs, both seen as undesirable. Mrs. Lund and the county extension counselor offer guidance to rural students on college choices in home economics and agriculture. It urges early planning to decide where to attend.
