A brand new 40 by 80 foot building with steel sides and cement floor, erected by the Farmers Co op Elevator Company at Hinton, caved in on the north side about 6 30 p m Friday while being filled with nitrogen fertilizer. Manager Dean Harrison said no one was hurt. A crew is working on repairs and the building will resume its original use. The site previously hosted a bulk tank explosion over a year ago.

Accident on First Avenue North West Collision Involving Chevrolet and Diamond T Truck
An accident occurred Friday at 2 30 p m at the corner of First Avenue North West, 165 feet north of 1st Street North. Clarence Brown's 1958 Chevrolet, parked, suffered 150 damage to the left rear fender after Darrell Wilson's 1956 Diamond T truck, driven by Don Caskey of Akron, pulled over to change drivers and struck it. The truck sustained no damage per police report.

Firemen rushed to the Le Mars city dump Saturday afternoon at 3 10 to report a truck fire. The vehicle owned by Albert Kurtzhals began burning but firefighters stopped the blaze quickly with no damage. A marriage license was issued to Nick H Hulst of Hospers and Betty Heeren of Kingsley in Sioux County last week.

Fatal Plane Crash Remains A Mystery
Government inspectors left the Le Qs crash scene without filing a report or contacting officials. Eyewitnesses expect a pilot error ruling while local airmen seek explanations. Wreck pieces were removed by Stops Brothers, and a large crowd gathered at Weber field. Funeral plans were announced for 36 year old Bernard Veldhuizen, with services in Sioux City and Pipestone. A car and pickup collided at the top of a hill near Alcester around 3 p.m. Sunday, injuring four people who were taken to Akron Iowa hospital.
