A fragmented historical clipping rails at polio vaccines and Nikita Khrushchev. It cites Dr George Breit challenging Jonas Salk on vaccine claims and forwards a second piece portraying Khrushchev as a dangerous criminal with sensational warnings.
Tuesday offers tossed salad bread pudding with strawberry topping and milk. Wednesday features chicken noodle soup cranberry and celery jello salad lettuce and meat sandwiches and a brownie.

A tractor on the Vernon Loutsch farm east of Le Mars caught fire around 10 a.m. Sunday. The Le Mars fire department was summoned but the blaze was stopped before the fire truck arrived. The damaged tractor was towed to Le Mars for repairs today, per Mr. Loutsch.
Randall Stover, a minor aided by his father, filed a damage suit in district court Friday against Illinois Central Railroad over a track accident near the Stover business. A second suit was filed the same day with Randall as sole plaintiff. Mr Stover said he knew nothing of the suit and has not reviewed papers since turning the case to attorney Burton Dull, who withdrew the papers but not the suit.
Raymond Henke 16 of rural Akron now living in South Dakota was injured when a Y985L bord fordar struck a bridge railing one mile south of Akron. He was removed from the wreck by a passing trucker and taken to Akron hospital, where he was released earlier today. Henke said he was visiting a cold trend south of the scene and does not know why the accident occurred. OM and Mrs Thine Aitterman of Kingsley were guests of Mr and Mrs Jake Hoommeman and Miss Mae Ebel Steeic on Sumi.
