Printed Checks Forgery Suspect Sentenced in Iowa Case
A resourceful forger, Willam Sorensen, 39, of Storm Lake and Newell Iowa, is jailed awaiting transfer to the state penitentiary after a 16 year sentence for passing forged company checks. He cashed about 381.00 in seven checks on Booth Olson Construction Co. and was arrested in Le Mars after a store clerk noticed suspicious purchases and a check proves machine was found in his possession.

Leinen Moritz St Michaels Catholic church in Kingsley set the scene for a fall wedding on Thursday October 14 at 1 o clock. Mrs Joan Leinen daughter of Kay and Mrs Kay Leinen became the bride of George Moritz Jr son of Mr and Mrs George Moritz Sr both families from south of Kelptn. The ceremony was performed by Rev Father Henry Ay Janse. The bride wore a white wedding gown with fingertip veil and pearls. Doctor's Care Reports Farm Accident Involving John Puctz
John Puctz, a patient at Sacred Heart hospital, suffered a compound fracture of the left arm after his hand and arm were entangled in a machine at a corn elevator while working with his sons. Skim has been stuffed on the hand and he is improving. Joe Zimmer of Le Mars underwent surgery at the Lanemia hospital Thursday. he is expected to stay several days longer as pain eases. A daughter weighing seven ounces was born to Mr and Mrs Stanley Jacobs of Akron at Akron Community hospital Monday October 18. the former Le Joyce Johnson is the mother. Grandparents are Mr and Mrs Gert Jacobs of Akron.
