A J D Company Inc tractor from Sioux City was wrecked in a ditch about 4 o clock Saturday morning one and a half miles north of Struble on highway 75. Patrolmen Lyle Pell and Dale Smith investigated and the driver Virgil Guthridge of Kingsley was later found in Sioux City. The tractor was a total loss and moved to Nessius Garage. Frank A Post died October 14 1957 at Sacred Heart Hospital after a months long illness. He lived with Mr and Mrs Stanley Post at 331 fs Ave and was a former partner in Moore Lumber and in Sports and Post Drug Company now Maouat Drug. Born August 13 1866 in Postville Wisconsin he moved to Le Mars in 1883. Survived by two sons Foster M Post and Stamey Post four grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral at Mauer chapel October 17 with burial in Le Mars city cemetery. attended by Masonic bodies and Rotary Club members.

Leonard J. Woll Dies at 41 in Le Mars Funeral Held
Leonard J. Woll prominent Mars businessman died October 11 1957 at St Vincent s hospital in Sion after months of illness. Born October 23 1915 in Johnson township Plymouth county he farmed near Le Mars before 1944 moving there. He worked at First National Bank then opened a general insurance agency and served on Le Mars city council. He married Delores Hoffman January 16 1940 at St Joseph s Ellendale. Funeral October 14 at St Joseph s Catholic Church with Father Edward Hoffman and burial in Calvary Cemetery Le Mars. Parish rosaries were recited the weekend prior. Gehlen High School students led rosaries at the funeral home. Survivors include wife Delores four sons Larry Paul Dennis Edward and a daughter Lea all at home his mother Mrs Emil Woll and two brothers John and Joe both of Le Mars. He was preceded by his father and sister Marie Woll.
