Le Mars City Council Hears Ballot Petitions and Plans
The Le Mars city council met Tuesday night to canvass candidates for the November 5 election ballot. Polling places were set for each ward at the courthouse city hall and Central school. City Clerk Nels Newendorp reported paving crews working on storm sewers and noted delays on surfacing a newly purchased parking lot due to missing abstract, with the city yet to receive title and counsel awaiting. An ordinance on parking regulations including a two hour limit is not ready for council action.
