54th Wedding Anniversary for Bert and wife Rogers
Mr and Mrs Bert Rogers longtime Ireton residents observe their 54th wedding anniversary on Monday October 8 at their home. He was born in Black Hawk County and lived on a farm north of Breton before becoming a farmer and carpenter. Mrs Rogers born 1879 in Soldier Grove Wisconsin raised by M V Billings family lived in Le Mars and Ireton later. They married Oct 8 1904 in the local Presbyterian church and have one son Gordon at home a daughter Teiash DeRaal of Austin Minnesota, one grandson and one great grand. They are Presbyterians and have held offices in church and the O O F and Rebekah lodges. CER N: You are hereby notified that on September 22 1956 there was filed in the Clerk of the District Court of Iowa Plymouth County an instrument purporting to be the last will of Charlie Pausch deceased. The 22nd day of October 1956 at 10:00 a m has been fixed for final proof and hearing at which time interested parties may appear and show cause why the will should not be admitted to probate.
