Catholic Daughters Host Guest Night At St. Michael's
The annual Catholic Daughters of America guest night at St. Michael's parish drew 140 ladies for dinner and program. Colleen Bride, Janelle Timmins, and Marlene Bruning performed baton twirling, Mary Ellen Kelly of Marcus spoke on devotion and her Rome Fatima pilgrimage, and editor of Seconds Sanctified discussed suffering and vocation. Additional vocal and accordion acts followed, with out of town guests from Sioux City and Marcus. Prizes were awarded after the program, and local families welcomed several newborns in the following days.
