Triplet Girls Born at Sioux Center Community Hospital
Identical triplet girls arrived Monday to Mr and Mrs Jacob Kooi man of Rock Valley at Sioux Center Community hospital. The three were born at 2 44 and 3 11 pm making the first triplet set in five years at the hospital where 23 sets of twins have occurred among 1 533 infants since July 1950. Two girls weighed three pounds and one weighed 3 pounds 12 ounces.

Longtime Plymouth County resident Louis Gralapp dies at 79
Louis Gralapp died on Tuesday November 6 1956 after a heart attack following a brief polling visit at the Plymouth county courthouse. Born December 17 1876 in Fond du Lac Wisconsin he moved here at age three and served as custodian at Franklin and the high school. He is survived by his wife Dora Reed four sons and three stepchildren along with a brother and several relatives. Funeral services are set for November 10 at 2:00 PM at Calvary Evangelical United Brethren church Le Mars with burial in the city cemetery.
