Rev Straube Leaves LeMars for Wisconsin Pastorate
Rev M L Straube, pastor of St. John's Evangelical and Reformed in LeMars, will move with Mrs Straube and their children to Lancaster Wisconsin to assume pastoral duties. Accidents Report From May 23 and May 26 in Plymouth Area
On May 23 at 5 40 pm Ida Wilken of David City Nebraska drove a 1949 Plymouth south and struck the left rear of a 1947 Chevrolet truck operated by John Erdman of Le Mars injuring only minorly the Wilken car with $90 damage and little to the truck. The crash occurred on Highway 75 near Can Oil Company. On May 26 at 4 45 pm a three car collision occurred at the Plymouth Street and Central Avenue intersection involving Harry Hawkins of LaCabama California driving a 1954 Chevrolet Ronald Cronin of Le Mars in a 1953 Ford convertible and Ronald Ommen in a 1953 Ford. Front and rear damage reported with no exact estimates. All involved stopped prior to impact. Mr and Mrs R L Budde spent the weekend in Minneapolis.

Hoboes Seen On Freight Train Again
Mars resident reports five hoboes riding a flat car, same year as others observed through Le Mars. An elderly man named Cole claims he is king of hoboes and won an honorary town colonel commission from Gov. Loveress at Des Moines.
